spiff is an adaptive transient processor that lets you cut or boost transients with great detail using spectral analysis and dynamic filtering. Unlike traditional transient shapers that work as compressors and envelope shapers over one or more bands, spiff analyzes the incoming signal to recognize when and where transients appear adaptively, then applies cuts or boosts using dynamic filters rather than crossovers.
